A friend of mine had her tatooes touched up today so i decided to follow her. I persuaded the artist to tatoo my name on her. Thought it was real funny. Don't worry, it's covered now. I wouldn't want anyone suffering with my name on her back. Thanks for making my day Yin Yi.

Day 4

So it's day 4 on mix.fm. I must say i am a bit sad. Especially since i will be missing the party in Penang. But to look forward and enjoy whats gonna come to me is what i have to focus on. It's been interesting tho listening to the songs on mix is pretty cool. I know every single one of them. But the next interesting is getting calls from some listeners. A typical call now sounds like this

It's funny

But I am going to take full advantage of this weekend. Since I will have the house to myself I plan to veg in front of the tv all of Saturday and watch Season 1 of LOST. Yeah yeah i know. Now only watch?! Well i was trying to finish my CSI, CSI Miami and CSI NY and not forgetting Smallville. Geez can't Clark just tell Lois and get together and be happy!

So yeah Season 1 of Lost this weekend. Am also looking forward to the Black Party.

Anyway i was in the office today and i had a good 4 hours to kill so i decided to start off with bugging the people in the office. I ended collecting stuff toys and put them in a interesting position. Picture below. Pay attention to the Dog that was just watching. Yes those stuffed toys wil never be the same again.

Another one bites the dust. Well our friend Riza and Fara got married a few days ago but tonight was the official celebration for friends and family. I must say i was surprised by the turnout. I think Riza mentioned 900 people. It was a good night cos it's not very often that me and my friends get to "mack" up. Hence so many pictures. But the dinner was a pleasant one. We gave Riza some crap as he walked down the aisle. Something along the lines of screaming "You can do it!"

The entertainment for the night was interesting. They had the wedding singers but as a side show they had the Malaysian Bhangra Association to perform as well. And that went on till the end as we exited the hall. Was very interesting.

Weddings always gives me that fuzzy feeling. Even thinking of my own which hopefully is not too far away. But i would imagine it would be nice to see all my friends there with me on one fo the most important days of my life.

My last day on hitz.fm

So i got another 1 and half hours before i say hitz.fm for the last time one air. The weird thing is i don't really feel sad at all. There are a few ways that I am looking at this. Hitz was the stepping stone for me and my career will move better once the move to mix happens.

Mix-ed (excuse the pun) emotions right now. Let's see what happens next week when it finally happens.

I shall share my emotions after the day is over later. for now I am more sleepy than anything else.

The updates!

Ok due to popular demand for certain people who say i don't write enough and constantly put pic with not much of a story to go with. I shall update with more details on life.

Work wise, today was my first meeting with the Mix.fm team. Basically we looked through some results which surprisingly is pretty good and it's my job to make it even better. I have to sit in with Eka tonight for her to show me the ropes. I am looking forward to it alot. The only drawback about the new slot is that I will work every evening from 8 till midnight. So my social life is at a halt. Not that it was that amazing in the first place. Basically, the show currently is based on dedications but the bosses want me to turn that around so it might become some sort of "Dear Thelma" slot where i "try" to offer some advice.

I got a confirmation for a shoe endorsement with ECKO UNLIMITED which i am real excited about. It would officially be my first endorsement. And the best part is i love the brand so much. If you guys are not to sure about the brand it is the number 1 hip hop shoe brand in the US. Even bigger than Phat Farm, FUBU and the rest.

Other than these 2 major events in my life, it remains nice and calm. AM looking forward to the weekend cos I will get to hopefully play some foosball. The world cup has really been the center of attention for me. The highlight of my day is to go home and fill up all the scores on my world cup spreadsheet which i downloaded from www.fifa.com.

Had to DJ at the Seventeen Summer Splash along with Ean, Serena and Adam C who were the hosts. It was so much fun. Sun, music and lots of fans. Thought I would share.

From HITZ to MIX

Ok I guess I can let the news out. Starting the 19th of June I willbe moved to mix.fm, 94.5 in the klang valley. The move is a good thing for me. Even though i will miss the hype of Hitz and the energy. I will bring over the same energy to mix.fm. So stay tuned cos I will be on every weekday night from 8 - 12. Hope you guys tune in.

I am looking real forward to the move cos there are so many reasons why this is a good thing and the one thing that leaves me with a heavy heart is the team that I have grown to love and learn to support. THe picture was taken on Friday for promotion purposes and because of my move in a few days i was ommited from it. It was only then it hit me then I would probably never step foot on the same stage with these great people under the banner of hitz.fm for a long time.

Family day!

The weekend was nice. Ean celebrated his birthday at Impiana so we managed to get a few rooms there and spend the night there. It was good fun.

The best was the next morning when we all met for breakfast then went to KLCC for lunch. It was cool doing the whole "Dogyears" thing with the gang.
