As usual i like to post up songs that have an effect on me. Check this one out. It's called So Sick by Ne-Yo. Awesome song. Also it's ironic cos i work on radio. haha but the lyrics seem mean and just as note to the readers. This is not targeted at anyone. I sincerely and really just like the song.

Too all my Chinese friends and family. A very Happy and prosperous Chinese New Year. I hope this year bring you love, health, happiness and good fortune.

It's been a good weekend the whole celebrations and gambling has been fun. Also having lots of ppl in the house helps a lot. Tho i prefered to stay home last night and have a few friends over then going through the exodus of partying last night with the gang.

Have to make plans and find themoney to go to Australia for a well deserved break.

Not much to update la actually. Life has been normal and stuff. Just that everyone is on leave and I am working. But it's all good la. So once again Happy Chinese New Year

Blur

It was an incredible weekend. Especially Saturday. We had a bowling event with federal bowl. It was so muchb fun. I haven't bowled in years but i still got it. But my arm is still aching from it. Night was amazing. We went for the Black Party and had so much fun. But the real party for me started when we went to Loft and i grabbed the mic and partied for 3 hours non stop. It was cool.

But the weekend event have got me thinking again. Yes it happens once in awhile. Think of it as urban renewal for the soul. Lots of things in my head. More on the present and the near future i suppose.

I guess there is a lot to say about the joys of being single. But more than anything is that i can go out with anyone at any time or anywhere and do what i want. Seriously? I miss the companionship and knowing i have someone. Sigh. Yes i have these normal commitment attacks. But i guess God has a bitgger plan for me. Let's see what happens. Just feeling a bit low these last few days. But as always i shall bounce back.

Well since I started the afternoon shift my life has become a whole lot easier. I even feel healthier. I guess it's the whole sleeping like a normal person and actually coming home at a decent time and managing time to myself. ALso i think the living in hartamas part helps a lot in the time scenario. And of course the knowledge that I don't work weekends is amazing!

Had some of Murats friends over for the last week or so. Those guys are crazy! But they are real nice. And good fun. Lots of weird stuff happens when they around which i will not get into. The best is the midnight snacks which are amazing. I mean we make maggi mee. But these guys toast bread, cheese spread, salami, hot peppers, tuna, chocolate nutella, cheese. Amazing man. I guess the only thing I can't get used to is every air con in the house being on. It's scary to think what our electricity bill will belike end of the month.

So far it's been a good first few weeks fo the new year. I been happy more than sad and i got a lot o look forward too. My TV show starts shooting again next week so I am looking forward to that.

Also I noticed ever sincei moved and started doing this shift i have cut my expenses down by almsost half. Very uplifting! I guess cos i eat at work where to food is subsidiezed and stuff.

Anyway am looking forward to this weekend cos the team will be bowling in Federal Bowl with listeners. I haven't bowled in ages so it will be nice to see if i still got them skillz.

Yes yes no juicy updates but hey the juicy updates are saved for some day else. What do you expect la. I am at work now and nothing to do.

2006 and then some

Looking back ont he last few days. The loss of Nana has affected me. Seeing how fragile life is. That you could be happy and life screws up for you. Death knows no age, race, color, religion or even personality. Although I believe that God takes the good ones first. So i am pretty sure that wherever she is, she is happy in that big foosball table up in the sky. And i know i have another guardian angel.

2006 looks pretty promising for me. My show has been shifted to 1pm till 5pm. I have 3 months to prove my worth to the station and I am up for the challenge. ALso my TV show has been confirmed. Good start i suppose but there is plenty of work to be done. (Yo Ben, looks like no more late night online chats.)

Am moved into my new place and finally back to living with housemates. Drums banging at 6 am. People doing nose dives and crashing into your bed. Well i guess it's the little things. But the house is real comfy and i feel very good there. PLyus it's the convenience factor.

Not much happening on the love front. In fact it's downright depressing. But then again i think i should enjoy my life which i am learning how to do day by day. And learning to be more confident. Cheers 2006!

God protect her!

Dear reader,

It is with the heaviest heart i have ever had that I tell you that my friend Sophina Mohd. Akhir aka Nana has passed last night at about 11 pm. She was 25 and one of the sweetest girls i know. As far as i know everyone liked her and she was dear to me as a friend. Religion says that God always takes the good ones first. Well God chose the right one cos she was good. And though it hurts to know that i will never hear her voice again, see her smile or see her play foosball i know that she has gone to heaven.

Nana you will be missed and may God bless your soul.

A plea for a miracle from you

Dear reader,

A real good friend of mine has been put into a coma after a real bad motorcycle accident and she basically got a very bad fracture on her skull. She is currently in a coma and the doctors do not see her pulling through. She is currently on life support and according to the doctors things look grim. I hope that if you read this you will say a special prayer to whatever God, Religion, Saint or whatever faith you have for a mircale to happen. It saddens me as she is such a beautiful person. She is beautiful, smart and amazing. Everyone she has met has nothing but amazing things to say about her and she has been an awesome friend to me. So please say a special prayer for Sophina @ Nana. Thank You.

Ok heres the update. Obviouslyi Have not added anything till just after x'mas so I shall jot them down here.

Hitz.fm Year End Jamz Party @ Zouk
Well we had a massive party in Zouk. It was amazing. I felt like a rap superstar. Once the jakeman hit the decks me and Ean took our mics and went into the crowd and partied hard. It was amazing night. I think that was the hardest i partied the whole year! Plus i got to spin in Zouks main room for an hour. Ok most of you will not get the gravity of this occasion for me. To be able to spin in one of the hottest clubs in town to a packed dancefloor and having everyone bump to your jams. Everytime i looked at the crowd i was awe strucked.

Moving house/worst day of 2005
Yes i am officially living in my new house. But the move was the worst. First of all the mover guy came 4 hours late. ANd when he finally arrived he had brought the wrong lorry. It was way too small to carry all my stuff. SO i brought the essentials. So we put everything into the lift. Then it happened. The lift jammed! Finally after 20 mins we got the lift moving again. So we loaded the stuff in the lorry. And the rain came down. Guess what?! Nothing to cover up my bed! So i now have a water bed! Managed ti rush to the new house to meet the security guys to fix the new gate remotes. Oh yeah i was trying to rush but the lorry driver was driving at like 30KMs. My god!

New years Eve
Yes the night of party. I was stuck in the studio till midnight doing the countdown show. It was awesome cos i got to wish thousands of ppl on air at once. Thought i would have an easy eve so i headed down to breakers. Walked in and had the manager come up to me and ask me to dj cos the dj just picked up and left. So i partied in the consle for 3 hours. It was hot! I had so much of fun. Then off too another club in Sri Damansara where a friend was spinning till 7 am. Then went home to sleep in my brand new house.

Lots of hopes for 2006 and lots of things to look forward too. I wish you all the best of luck, health, love and joy.

Chestnuts Roasting...

Yes we all know that song. The Christmas week was a blur. I got back on TUesday evening and immediately did my normal crusade to Batu Ferringhi to stock up. Was not really a good few days in Penang cos I was nursing a flu and had bad case of rashes. Which subsided thank god by X'mas Eve. But that did not stop me from partying. Went to the happening stretch of Penang clubs with Lorna.Went into a club and bumped into Liang and of all people performing there that night Jaclyn Victor. Was fun hanging out with ehr for awhile. Then headed over to SS to catch up with Leroy and Jack for a bit.

Friday was cool. Jakeman was spining in one of the clubs in Penang so i went there along with Moots and Irene. Next day took the couple shopping for a bit before heading home for x'mas dinner and then it was off to church. Immaculate Conception Church ahd a Pantomim which is basically a christmas play. Very well done.

Bumped into some old friends. Good stuff.

Christmas Day was nice. I slept the whole day! Was crazy. I just kept going in and out of sleep.

So the holiday was basically very quick la. Before you knew it it was over. ANd it's back to the land of the living.

Got to concentrate on moving now.

New year, new home, new hopes, new dreams, new aspiration and definetely new and more crap!

Here are some pics of recent and not so recent foosball tournaments. We had the national finals 2005 over the weekend. Nothing to shout about. It was a good tournament all in all and I had to be an official for every final. Which was good cos I got a good view of all the games. Personal results

SIngles - Not too good this year but it think i finished somewhere in the top 10.

What a week!

Ok this week has been one prom after another. Not much of a birthday celebration. Wednesday night has dinner with the gang at Modestos Hartamas. Sort of a post birthday thingie. Brazilian Barbeque. All you can eat. Yeah Meats!

Thursday was another Prom Invasion. Sekolah Bukit Maluri or somehting like that. It was fun la. I was spinning for them till about midnight. Which was a bit screwed cos I worked Morning Crew the next morning. Surprisingly could wake on time and did not feel all that sleepy. Morning Crew with Rudy was cool la! Then we did some gotcha calls which was fun. We tried it on Jess, Murat and Dhanya. I must say i have intelligent friends cos it was not easy to get them at all! But it was fun tho.

Friday night i had to do another prom. FOr Sri Aman school. It was a favor for a friends lil cousin. Casey thanks for calling me to do it. But i must say the whole structure of the night was not planned out very well and I had to throw in some of my ideas to get the night going smoother. Then it was off to meet the gang in Heritage Row. Was cool la. Jess brought her cousins which was very very cute But alas she is engaged. Story of my life! Hahahah. Some of the clubs were being raided which was a bit of a party pooper. Headed home about 4 am. Then it was shower and off to work. Yes you must think I am nuts. Shift was till 11 am and i was supposed to Interview Kevin Richardson from the Backstreet Boys. But in the end it was cancelled cos the boys were stuck in an airport that was snowed in so the interview was postponed. Stayed at work till almost 1 cos me and Phat Fabes were planning an outing in a few days. Can't wait. Just the guys and lots of fun.

Tonight we had a small BBQ in Murats place again. Sort of a farewell to his apartment and a minor birthday celebrtation for me. Sooooo many people. But it was fun. Ended up watching football in his apartment. Arsenal lost!

ALl in all it's been a real busy week which is good and got lots of my mind. Next week i am looking forward to watching King Kong! Woo hoo. But i got to focus on morning crew for the next few days. Which will be good although it seriously throws my body clock out of whack again.

Am gonna try and take it easy today and even just stay at home. Even though i know ultimately i will go out la. Probably call one of the guys or gals to have dinner and then go home and try and get some sleep.

Go Shorty it's MY Birthday

Well it was my birthday la. Thanks to everyone who wished me, face to face, sms, phone calls, emails and tag board messages. But basically there was no major celebration. As always it was pretty dry. Not complaining or anything but i din even get 1 gift! Whats wrong with this picture. hahah kidding.

I just realised that I haven't updated my blog in a few days. But generally nothing new happening la. Same thing day in day out.

Hitz.fm invaded a prom today. It was cool la. But it was real cute seeing all the g uys trying to get lucky. Like i saw some kids grinding on the dance floor to Pop Shuvits songs. You could feel the hormones raging man. And the women. Where were women like this when I was 17. It was off the chain! But all in all it was a nice evening. Nice cos for the first time we had most of the jocks in 1 room. And we had so much fun just joking about.

I cracked my bones!

Well actually the chiropractor did. And all i got to say is that it was amazing!! Heavenly. I mean feel it. Someone cracking your back. Getting all the knots out. Sigh. "craaack"!!!! I actually sleep much better now after my first visit but have one more next week. Thanks Dr. Kate, and thanks Claude for giving me the number.

Haven't been doing much lately. Wake up.. food.. foosball.. work. Normal routine. But i must admit it is catching up on me incredibly. As in i am getting too old for this.

Lots of problems also going around in my head. But as they say life's a bitch.

Went for a movie premiere today "Aeon Flux" I would love to give you a run down on the movie but the movie was a bit too slow moving in the beginning thati fell asleep as how i would in most movies anyway. So no review for this movie. Am looking so forward to watching King Kong though. Definetely won't sleep through that one!
